Session Description
February 24 2026 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm
This is session 2 of a 2-part series for Black History Month 2026 – Confronting Anti-Black Racism in Higher Education: Foundations and Practice. These sessions are best experienced as a consecutive pair, however, can be taken separately.
Part 2 — Applying Knowledge Through Case Studies
This interactive session focuses on applying knowledge gained in workshop 1 to a wide array of scenarios. Through case studies, participants will analyze varied examples of anti-Black racial discrimination (ABR), apply relevant policies and complaint processes, and engage in role-playing exercises to practice responding effectively in the moment. The goal is to equip participants with practical tools and practice to address ABR proactively and constructively.
