ENGAGE in Motion: Meet the UTSC ENGAGE RV – Oct 1, 2026
Session Description
October 2 2026 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Join us for an interactive introduction to the newly retrofitted UTSC ENGAGE RV, a first-of-its-kind mobile space designed to support community-engaged research, teaching, knowledge mobilization, research creation, and partnerships. Building on ENGAGE’s Made in Scarborough: A Night for Community-Driven Research event and Digital Research Storytelling Workshop program, the RV takes this work on the road—creating new possibilities for where and how research, teaching, storytelling, and partnership can happen. Tour the RV, hear short informal talks from the people who helped design and use it, learn how the rental and booking process works, and enjoy creative activations, live DJing, video screenings, popcorn and punch. Faculty are encouraged to bring their classes, whether as an informal learning opportunity or as part of a course activity or assignment. This is a free event open to faculty, staff, students, and community partners.
