University of Toronto has a vibrant entrepreneurship ecosystem. Within this ecosystem, many of our faculty and staff are working closely with partners in Africa and India to support young entrepreneurs in India and in diverse countries in Africa conceive of and launch new innovations. Join our next Fireside chat to learn about some of these activities and the opportunities to contribute to dynamic innovation ecosystems in different contexts. Panelists include: Professor Paul Santerre, who founded the Health Innovation Hub H2i within the Temerty Faculty of Medicine and works closely with 8 African universities to support their development of health innovation hubs through the Mastercard Foundation funded Africa Health Collaborative; Efosa Obano, founder and Program Manager for U of T's Black Founders Network, who launched the Africa Impact Initiative when he was a student at UTSC; and Rotman Assistant Professor Anjana Dattani, who is engaged in mentorship and program development for climate-tech startups in India through the University of Toronto India Foundation in Mumbai.
