Let’s Talk International Partnerships Fireside Chats – Global Classrooms – Sept 24, 2021

Looking for ways to innovate in the classroom and connect with colleagues globally? The Office of the Vice President International has released a second funding call for proposals to support faculty members creating Global Classrooms. Our successful first round supported 39 undergraduate and graduate global classroom proposals across multiple divisions. The deadline for submissions for funding courses in 2022 is October 15, 2021 .

This interactive session will begin with a dynamic panel discussion featuring our Global Classrooms Special Advisors: Profs. Barbara Murck, Elham Marzi and Obidimma Ezezika. As faculty members who have both led global classrooms as well as reviewed global classroom proposals, they will share insights and opportunities – from idea to proposal writing to funding to execution.

Also come meet new Associate Vice-President & Vice-Provost, International Student Experience, Professor Alexie Tcheuyap.

The discussion will be then open to all attendees for a Q&A session.

Please note: The format for all sessions will be a short presentation of the key topic followed by an open discussion with attendees on the specific topic and ANY other topics related to international partnerships. You are welcome to attend the full session or please feel free to drop-in anytime within the hour to ask any question you may have on any topic of interest, or to simply listen in.
