Project Management for Research – Jan. 16, 2026

Promotional poster for "Research Project Management".

Session Description

January 16 2026 @ 11:00 am - 12:30 pm

Start off your 2026 research projects with an actionable plan – and the tools and know-how to carry it out.

The sheer volume of project management resources can make it challenging for research teams to know what's most relevant and useful to the research context, and when and how to use project management tools.

That is why the Centre for Research & Innovation Support (CRIS) has organized “Research Project Management” training, facilitated by Dr. P. Alison Paprica, PhD, PMP, Professor (adjunct) and Senior Fellow, Institute for Health Policy, Management and Evaluation, Dalla Lana School of Public Health.

In this 90-minute webinar, Dr. Paprica will present three simple yet powerful project management tools that she has tailored for research, along with new guidance on AI-assisted research project management. You will learn how to use modifiable versions of the tools with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint to immediately improve your research project management.

Attendees will also have a chance to win a copy of: Research Project Management and Leadership: A Handbook for Everyone
