Microsoft Scheduling Tools for Researchers: What to Use When – Sept. 17, 2020
September 17 2020 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
This information session will explore three different scheduling tools from the Office 365 suite of applications: Outlook shared resources, Microsoft Bookings and Microsoft Shifts.
The shift to a COVID-19 informed University environment has necessitated the exploration of new software options that can be used to manage appointments, work-spaces and resources. The session will explore the use of these tools from the perspective of different use cases, and time will be set aside for questions.
Kathleen McLeod, Services Engagement Coordinator EASIVicki Vokas, Manager, Enterprise Digital Workplace (Moderator)
After attending, participants in this session will be better able to:
- identify the key features of each product
- determine which product best fits their use cases
- explain how these features can optimize scheduling processes for the current University research environment.
