This is the third session in the University of Toronto Libraries (UTL) hosted virtual series, Open Science: Following the Roadmap for Research, for the month of November. Each session is guided by one of the 5 principles of open scholarship as outlined in the "Roadmap for Open Science", published by the Government of Canada (Feb. 2020). This session will Focus on Inclusiveness.
Open science can only truly be attained with the promotion of, and commitment to, inclusion and diversity in scientific research and publishing. This session will explore initiatives that, by embracing the Open Science principle of inclusiveness, encourage new, vibrant voices to surface in the scientific community.
