By participating in the Centre of Research & Innovation Support (CRIS) events, all attendees, speakers, sponsors, and staff agree to our Code of Conduct. As a member of the University of Toronto community, the CRIS team is committed to promoting equity, diversity and inclusion, and emphasizes a welcoming and learning environment. This includes providing a discrimination and harassment-free event experience for everyone, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, or religion.

Expected Behaviour, and Collective Responsibility:

All CRIS event attendees, speakers, sponsors, and staff agree by their presence or attendance that they will:

  1. Promote a safe environment for everyone that is free from harassment;
  2. Be respectful of different dimensions, perspectives and lived experiences among participants and to be sensitive to the impact their communications and behaviours have on others;
  3. Not use offensive verbal comments related to gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, age, language spoken, race, ethnicity, citizenship status, or religion

Please be advised that those who engage in inappropriate behaviour at CRIS’s events will be addressed in accordance with the appropriate University policies.
