NSERC Discovery Grant: Strategies for Success – Sept. 6, 2024

The Centre for Research & Innovation Support, in collaboration with Research Services Office, is hosting a webinar on the upcoming 2024 Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) Discovery Grant program for the University of Toronto community.
This session will feature a faculty panel of recent members of the Discovery Evaluation Committees and/or successful Discovery applicants. Panelists will share their experiences participating on the evaluation committee, and tips for writing a strong proposal.
This session will also provide a general overview of the Discovery Grant, including:
- process, application requirements and eligibility,
- changes for this year’s competitions,
- evaluation criteria,
- proposal development,
- research security requirements and resources, and
- resources at UofT that support EDI in research and innovation.
A question & answer period will follow.
