Community Engagement in COVID-19: Community of Practice and Resource Launch

Session Description

May 20, 2021 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Interested in connecting with other community-engaged practitioners? Join us in dialogue.

About this event

We invite students, community artists, community facilitators, participatory visual methods practitioners, and participatory researchers into conversation. This event will involve opportunities to network, and informally discuss the opportunities and tensions of adapting participatory, community-engaged approaches to online/remote settings. Let’s learn from each other.

We will also launch some illustrated web resources that help us think through remote/online facilitation with communities, as part of the Community-Engagement in COVID-19 study.

More details to come.

The event Zoom link will be sent closer to the date.

This is the second part of a two-part event series on Community Engagement during COVID-19. The first event, a panel discussion on April 29th 2021, involved a practitioner-led conversation on the opportunities and tensions of conducting online/remote facilitation during COVID-19.
