REDCap Basic Training II – Apr. 16, 2021

REDCap (Research Electronic Data Capture) is a free and secure web application that can be used to build and manage online surveys and databases. REDCap was introduced to the University of Toronto research community in 2019 and can be used for online and offline data collection.

In this second webinar of the REDCap training series, participants will be trained on how to perform the following functions on the REDCap:

  • Branching logic
  • Piping
  • Assigning user rights management
  • Exporting and importing the data dictionary.
  • Exporting and importing data
  • Navigating and customizing record status dashboard
  • Creating copying and editing reports, assigning to groups.

Learning Objectives

At the end of the session, participants will be able to:

  • Develop a good understanding of the branching logic and piping and other basic functions on the REDCap
  • Understand how to assign user rights management, export and import data and data dictionary.
  • Navigate and customize the record status dashboard on the REDCap
