Digital Research Infrastructure Portal
The Digital Research Infrastructure (DRI) Portal provides access to resources related to data management planning, research data storage and sharing, working with research data, and privacy and security considerations.
The University of Toronto has developed an Institutional Research Data Management (RDM) Strategy. The Strategy outlines the institutional commitment to responsible practices for the management of data created, collected, and utilized throughout the research process and guides the direction for expected support services and resources available at the university.
A Data Management Plan (DMP) contains information on how research data is collected and managed throughout the project lifecycle, and it provides the foundation that aligns with funding requirements and research guidelines.
Digital Research Infrastructure (DRI) at the University of Toronto is led by two standing Committees – a Researcher Council and an Advisory Committee.
In this session, participants will learn how to organize and publish research data in the University of Toronto Dataverse, U of T’s institutional data repository hosted by Borealis. Through a live demo, participants will learn how to organize research data for deposit, upload and publish a dataset, and add appropriate metadata.
