2020 Faculty of Medicine Grant-Writing Workshop

The Faculty of Medicine is pleased to offer its annual Grant-Writing Workshop for 2020.  While developed for, and offered by the Faculty of Medicine, the workshop welcomes participation by researchers from all disciplines and all campuses at UofT.

This year’s workshop is offered virtually and will occur on:  August 14, 2020, 9:00 am to 11:30 am.  The workshop is free to attend.

This year’s workshop will feature:

• A Reviewer’s Perspective on Grant Review Panels and Funding Success, Professor Cindi Morshead, PhD, Chair, Division of Anatomy, Department of Surgery
• Grant Fundamentals and How to Write a Persuasive Research Proposal, Golnaz Farhat, PhD, Grants & Awards Editor
• Key Services offered by the Office of the Vice Dean, Research & Innovation, for those in the Faculty of Medicine, Jeremy Knight, Manager, Research Administration & Operations
• Core Facilities & Services available through the Faculty of Medicine Natasha Christie-Holmes, PhD, Research Operations Officer
• Q&A session
