The Creative Destruction Lab is excited to introduce the “Spinout Series”, a new virtual event series for Canadian innovators interested in entrepreneurship to hear from some of the top minds in the country how they think about commercializing innovation.
The first event in this series “How to Think About Spinning Out in Canada” is now open for registration!
It features:
- A brief overview of the commercialization landscape in Canada,
- A collection of spinout examples highlighting key features of successful Canadian spinouts from an expert with 15+ years of experience, and
- A panel discussion with two academics turned founders of Unicorn startups: Brendan Frey of Deep Genomics, and Christian Weedbrook of Xanadu.
