CFI JELF: Strategies for Success – Oct. 29, 2025

The Division of the Vice-President, Research & Innovation is hosting an upcoming information session on strategies to develop a successful application to the Canada Foundation for Innovation John R. Evans Leaders Fund (JELF).
This session will feature faculty members at the University of Toronto who have recently been awarded a JELF and members of the Research Services Office. The Research Services Office will highlight recent trends in reviewer scores and feedback, including common weaknesses among unsuccessful applications, and will provide practical guidance on how to successfully address the JELF assessment criteria and enhance your chances of success. Participants will then have the opportunity to hear from faculty members who will share their experiences crafting successful proposals, including lessons learned and practical tips. A Q&A period will follow.
