Join Professor Karan Singh and the Innovations & Partnerships Office (IPO) for a candid discussion on bringing research to market. From accessing grants and getting industry pilots to creating an IP-based startup, the session will cover real-world best practices and pitfalls to avoid for U of T Inventors and Entrepreneurs. Q&A and networking will follow.

Prof. Singh is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science specializing in interactive graphics, perception, geometric and anatomic modeling, character animation, and interfaces for mobile/AR/VR. He is a serial entrepreneur, including most recently founding Jali, a speech and facial animation software spinout company helping to create lifelike characters in games like Cyberpunk2077 and Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2.
