These drop-in sessions are not recorded and are designed for you to come and ask our guest experts anything on their topic of expertise. Join other UofT community members and learn together as you get your questions answered.
Join us for the next session CRIS Connects: SharePoint for Research with guest experts Lisa Chen, Information Management Analyst, Enterprise Applications and Solutions Integration (EASI) and Michael Laurentius, Research Information Security Specialist, Information Security.
This session will focus on using University of Toronto’s Microsoft SharePoint platform as a secure cloud-based data storage and sharing solutions for research.
Lisa Chen and Michael Laurentius will be available to answer questions such as:
- Why should SharePoint be used over OneDrive to store research files?
- How can SharePoint be used to collaborate and share files with U of T and external collaborators, including international collaborators?
- How can you manage research data privacy and confidentiality when using SharePoint?
- Can you access SharePoint files from your desktop or offline?
- Can SharePoint be used to store Level 4 research data?
- What solutions are available to backup data from SharePoint?
