Dismantling Structures to Support Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion – May 16, 2022
Session Description
May 16, 2022 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm
The Institute of Education Research (TIER) at UHN invites you to attend an exciting panel discussion.
The virtual panel, titled Dismantling Structures to Support Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, continues the momentum and message of our 2021 flagship lecture series, The Dr. Daniel C. Andreae President’s Lecture on the Future of Work, sponsored by Elsevier. Our speaker, the Honorable Kirsty Duncan, PhD, asked us all to consider what we will choose to do to make science better, what we will do to leave inequality behind.
Our panelists will discuss how the research community can work towards meaningful and sustainable change. With representation from the federal government, publishing, and the university research community, expect to hear creative and far-reaching actions for diversity, equity and inclusion in healthcare, education and research, possibilities that will challenge you to choose change in your own work.
This virtual event will be webcast at 11:00 a.m. on May 16, 2022, ET. Please feel free to share this invitation with friends and colleagues.
