Take an in-depth look at the work of Dr. Michel Sadelain, 2024 Canada Gairdner Award Laureate for his contributions to CAR-T therapy, a treatment that genetically alters a patient’s own immune cells to fight their cancer. Living Drugs features interviews with the scientists involved in or witness to the birth of this new therapy, as well as patient stories from Canada, the US, and beyond.

The Gairdner Foundation will be hosting a screening of the Documentary “Living Drugs” based on the work of 2024 Canada Gairdner International Award Laureate Dr. Michel Sadelain, followed by a live panel discussion with Dr. Sadelain, Dr. Isabelle Riviere, Dr. Jonas Mattsson and Camille Leahy. Moderated by Carly Weeks.
