EDI in Cannabis and Cannabinoid Research: A TC3 Workshop – Apr 22-23, 2025

Co-led by senior Toronto Cannabis & Cannabinoid Research Consortium (TC3) fellows, Dr. Justin Matheson and Dr. Catharine Mielnik, this two-day event will bring together experts, researchers, and trainees to engage in meaningful conversations about the challenges and opportunities in fostering EDI in research and will spotlight the unique issues within cannabis and cannabinoid research. Through a dynamic program, explore how diverse perspectives can drive innovation and create more inclusive practices in cannabis and cannabinoid research.

Attendees will hear from an exceptional lineup of speakers and panelists sharing their cutting-edge research and personal insights. Topics will include cannabis use and harms among historically under-represented communities, health equity perspectives on cannabis legalization, and novel approaches to understanding diversity in responses to cannabinoids.
