This session will provide participants with strategies for integrating equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) principles into the management of research teams and research training activities.
Learning Objectives
By the end of this session, participants will be able to
- define the concepts of equity, diversity, and inclusion
- understand systemic barriers to participation
- identify specific actions to support EDI in the composition and management of research teams and in HQP training
- craft a research proposal that effectively addresses EDI considerations related to team management and HQP training
