This session is hosted by the Office of Research Services of the Faculty of Arts & Science (A&S) and the Innovations and Partnerships Office (IPO) to introduce their recently released Guide to Industry Partnerships and to offer A&S faculty members an opportunity to learn more about IPO and divisional support to industrial partnership development and leveraging grants.

Description: The Innovations and Partnerships Office has recently released a new Guide to Industry Partnerships. Together with the Office of Research Services of the Faculty of Arts & Science, the guide will be presented to A&S faculty members. The session will be divided into two parts. The first part will feature the IPO Partnerships team as they present their guide. In the second part, the A&S research services team will provide an overview of the support offered to faculty members who are willing to venture into industrial research partnerships. The session will provide an opportunity to discuss practical strategies for strengthening your research pitch to industry partners, and what to do once you find a potential partner. Attendees will also be able to connect with colleagues across the division to build their support network and enhance their skills for conducting research with industry.
