Is Reconciliation dead? Examining the truth in the TRC when it comes to engaging in business with Indigenous communities ethically and respectfully

Location: The BRIDGE Library, 1095 Military Trail, Scarborough, ON M1C 1A4

Instructor: Kelly Crawford, Assistant Director, Indigenous Initiatives, UTSC; and  Dr. Angela Nardozi, Educator, Coach, and Sessional lecturer at OISE/UT and UTM. 

Some Indigenous youth are claiming Reconciliation is dead, after conflict with the RCMP and the Canadian state. Join us for this interactive session as we explore the answers to the following:   

  • How do we put Truth before Reconciliation?   
  • What does it mean to live and work on Indigenous land?  
  • What actions can you take in your work and life to build respectful relationships?   

Join facilitators Kelly Crawford, (Anishinaabe-kwe from M'Chigeeng First Nation on Mnidoo Munising) Assistant Director, Indigenous Initiatives at UTSC and Dr. Angela Nardozi(Italian-Canadian) an educator, coach, and Sessional lecturer at OISE/UT and UTM.
