JHI How-to: Create Documentation & Structures for Research Project Longevity – Mar. 11, 2025

Session Description

March 11 2025 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

The Jackman Humanities Institute (JHI) invites researchers in the humanities and social sciences working with collaborators and partners both inside and outside academia to an online workshop designed to help develop strategies to document project goals, procedures and governance structures to ensure project longevity, as well as to look ahead to storing and accessing their project websites, podcasts, papers and data well into the future.

This session will feature a roundtable with faculty guest speakers who will share their personal experiences working on large, long-term funded projects, reflect on the challenges and opportunities arising from working through the leadership structuring process, and offer their thoughts and recommendations to faculty members who are currently working with, or considering working with collaborators or partners.

  • Faculty Guest Speakers:
    Ben Akrigg (Department of Classics)
Rohan Alexander (Faculty of Information & Department of Statistical Science)
    T.L. Cowan
(Department of Arts, Culture and Media, UTSC)
