NSERC Discovery Grant: Strategies for Success – Sep. 14, 2023

The Centre for Research & Innovation Support, in collaboration with Research Services Office, is hosting a webinar on the upcoming 2023 Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) Discovery Grant program for the University of Toronto community.
This session will feature a faculty panel of recent members of the Discovery Evaluation Committees and/or successful Discovery applicants. Panelists will share their experiences participating on the evaluation committee, and tips for writing a strong proposal.
This session will also provide a general overview of the Discovery Grant, including:
- process, application requirements and eligibility,
- changes for this year’s competitions,
- evaluation criteria, and
- proposal development.
A question & answer period will follow.
