NSERC Research Tools and Instruments (RTI) Grant: Strategies for Success – Sept. 17, 2024

The Centre for Research & Innovation Support, in collaboration with Research Services Office, is hosting a webinar on the upcoming 2024 Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) Research Tools and Instruments (RTI) Grant program for the University of Toronto community.
This session will feature a faculty panel of recent members of the RTI Evaluation Committees and/or successful RTI applicants. Panelists will share their experiences participating on the evaluation committee, and tips for writing a strong proposal.
This session will also provide a general overview of the RTI grant, including:
- process, application requirements and eligibility,
- changes for this year’s competitions,
- evaluation criteria
- proposal development
- research security requirements and resources, and
- resources at UofT that support EDI in research and innovation
A question & answer period will follow.
