This information session for the Ontario Research Fund, Research Excellence Round 12 is designed to guide applicants as they complete their proposals for this funding opportunity. In this session, presenters will provide information on the program criteria and key documents, completing the budget, adjudication criteria and editorial tips, commercialization and IP, as well as research security and mitigating economic geopolitical risks.
Learning Objectives
At the end of this session, participants will be able to:
- Identify techniques and strategies to write a successful ORF-RE grant;
- Better understand how to position the grant to appeal to the adjudication committee;
- Understand how to craft their application while addressing research security and mitigating economic geopolitical risks; and
- Understand how to put together a project budget.
