This is the first session in the University of Toronto Libraries (UTL) hosted virtual series, Open Science: Following the Roadmap for Research, for the month of November. Each session is guided by one of the 5 principles of open scholarship as outlined in the "Roadmap for Open Science", published by the Government of Canada (Feb. 2020). This session will Focus on People.
The scientific community is integral to Open Science and needs to be representative and meaningfully engaged at every stage of the process, including the design, implementation, and evaluation of its effectiveness and impact. This session will explore the inclusion of all voices in Open Science and introduce the series.
