Join us for the third workshop in the “Learning Together: Applying Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Concepts in Research Ethics Review,” a new monthly series bringing together experts from across the tri-campus on a range of research ethics topics from equity, diversity, and inclusion through a TCPS 2 lens.

In the first half of this session, guest speaker Ben Poynton will explore:

  • The definition of ableism, how it impacts our systems, attitudes and approaches, and implications for accessibility and research ethics

  • Tools and strategies to identify and interrupt ableism and promote accessibility

Following the presentation, session participants will explore a featured case study in small groups before closing with final reflections.
