How do Black and Indigenous pedagogical approaches challenge dominant educational frameworks? What does it look like to center these methodologies in global classrooms?

Topic: Reimagining Education: Black Indigenous Waterways

This special research talk will spotlight inaugural recipients of the BRN’s Black Indigenous Waterways Fellowship, Jade Nixon (New York University Provost’s Faculty Fellow) and kara lynch (Associate Professor Emerita, Hampshire College). Nixon and lynch will share insights into their fellowship work, exploring decolonial approaches and how their respective practices engage with Black Indigenous histories and relationships.

The conversation will be followed by a Q&A session.
