The Research Connect Community Fireside is a pilot initiative aimed at connecting with the research community and engaging the general public to raise awareness of their essential role as “Active Protagonists” in contributing to research. This is a unique opportunity for the public—including patients, caregivers, and research professionals—to connect with leading Clinician-Scientists in your neighborhood.

Join Dr. Kelvin Ng, Stroke Internist at Hamilton Health Sciences and Associate Professor of Medicine at McMaster University, and Dr. Emilie Belley-Côté, Associate Professor at McMaster University and Director of Critical Care Research, as they share valuable insights into heart and stroke health. Dr. Richard Whitlock, Associate Chair and Professor at the Department of Surgery, McMaster University, and a cardiac surgeon and intensive care physician at Hamilton Health Sciences, will moderate the discussions.
