Are you thinking of partnering with industry? Not sure where to begin or what to do next?
Join us in-person on October 13th to learn about U of T resources available for establishing research partnerships with industry.
Hosted by the Temerty Faculty of Medicine (TFoM) in collaboration with the Centre for Research & Innovation Support (CRIS), this session will cover how partnering with industry can support your research objectives. This session will also include a talk by Mitacs on how to access their programs to increase funding available to your students.
After the formal presentations from the speakers, they will be available to help answer your questions and discuss your specific partnership needs.
Session Objectives:
- Introduce academics to collaboration
- What is an Industry partnership
- Why/Why not partner with Industry
- Inform academics on the process for collaboration
- Share resources available for initiating and supporting partnerships
- Help academics identify a path for collaboration
- Help build trust and networks to form partnerships.

Target Audience: This session is intended for Faculty, Postdoctoral fellows and PhD Students focused on life sciences research. Additional sessions for research administration staff will be held at a later date.
