Mitacs is a national, independent, not-for-profit organization that supports collaborative research partnerships between academic institutions and industry, not-for-profit, municipal and hospital partners. Through these partnerships, they aim to provide experiential learning opportunities for students, post-docs and recent grads to take part in innovative research and development activities with partner organizations that solve business and societal challenges, while advancing academic research goals._x000D_

The panel will include University of Toronto researchers Dr. Mary Elizabeth Luka, from the Department of Arts, Culture and Media and the Critical Digital Humanities Initiative; Dr. Angie Minah Park, from the Department of Management; and Samia Tecle from the Department of Sociology. Researchers from across U of T are welcome to attend._x000D_
