Do you need help deciding if a partnership is the best next step for your research program? Are you ready to formalize an informal partnership but need some guidance on how to accomplish this?

Join the Jackman Humanities Institute (JHI) on April 11th from 1:00pm - 2:30pm for an interactive workshop session for faculty members in the Humanities & Social Sciences (H&SS), who are working on starting, developing, or planning a funding pathway for their partnered research projects or programs.

The session will focus on understanding the nature of partnerships in H&SS research and finding the right funding structure for your program of research. The session will also feature a roundtable with members of the H&SS research community, who will:

  • share their personal experiences building strong and productive research partnerships;
  • reflect on the challenges and opportunities presented by formal research partnerships; and
  • offer advice to H&SS faculty members who are considering a similar research trajectory.

Faculty speakers:

  • Claire Battershill (Assistant Professor, Department of English UTSG & Faculty of Information),
  • Kevin O’Neill (Professor, Department for the Study of Religion, UTSG) and
  • Thy Phu (Professor, Department of Arts, Culture, and Media UTSC)
