How does CanPath data support environmental research and metabolomics to better understand and predict cancer? CanPath, the Canadian Partnership for Tomorrow’s Health, is a centre at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health, and Canada’s largest population health study. This study has collected data from over 330,000 Canadian participants, including information about health, lifestyle, environment and behaviour. At this trainee research webinar, discover how two graduate students used CanPath data to investigate the impact of the built environment on various cancers and predict breast cancer risk using metabolomic data.
Speakers:
- Atul Aravindakshan, PhD Candidate at the University of British Columbia’s School of Population and Public Health
- Ly Trinh, Master of Science student at the University of British Columbia’s School of Population and Public Health.
This event is hosted by the Canadian Partnership for Tomorrow’s Health (CanPath).
