Understanding and Addressing Antisemitism at U of T: Rights, Responsibilities, and Inclusive Practices – Dec. 9, 2025

Session Description

December 9 2025 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

This workshop offers a foundational understanding of how antisemitism manifests in learning, working, and research environments at the University of Toronto and explores the University’s policy and legal responsibilities in addressing it. Premised on the Addressing Antisemitism at the University of Toronto (https://people.utoronto.ca/culture/accountability/addressing-antisemitism-at-the-university-of-toronto/) web resource, and current human rights-related legislative frameworks, this session will help participants build awareness of the lived experiences of Jewish community members, including those who are Israeli, on campus. Participants will also learn to recognize examples of antisemitic discrimination and harassment and understand the processes for reporting and responding to such conduct.
