“Improving Accessibility of Reproductive Health Care for Women with Disabilities”
Despite calls from the World Health Organization and UnitedNations for more inclusive health care strategies, women with disabilitiesreport being under-served in reproductive health care settings. In this talk,Dr. Brown will discuss pregnancy-related outcomes and health care experiencesof women with disabilities in Ontario, with implications for creation ofaccessible reproductive health care services.
The Research Excellence Lecture Series will be held the firstWednesday of the month 10:00am to 11:00pm from October 2021 to April 2022. EachResearch Excellence Lecture will feature a different UTSC Faculty memberdiscussing their research and accomplishments.
