This information session will provide participants with guidance in addressing EDI and GBA+ considerations in their NFRF Transformation LOI. The session is intended for members of Transformation teams, as well as research administration staff from the academic divisions.

Learning Objectives
After this session, participants will be better equipped to
- identify specific actions and strategies that advance EDI in team composition and recruitment, training and development activities, and team management
- identify resources at the University of Toronto that promote EDI
- define the concepts of sex, gender, and GBA+ as they apply to research
- craft an LOI that demonstrates a commitment to EDI and effectively describes how sex, gender, or other identify factors have been considered in the proposed study (as applicable)
