This session will explore lessons learned from humanities and interpretive social scientists who have recently published their first monograph.
The researchers will share their lived experiences, insights, advice and tips on how they overcame some of their challenges.
While this event is focused on the experiences of humanities and interpretive social science scholars, anyone in the University of Toronto community interested in academic monograph publishing can learn from the collective wisdom presented in this panel.

- Identify common researcher/author challenges in the book publication process
- Employ strategies to mitigate challenges arising during the book publication process
- Identify the key steps required to move forward towards the publication of a monograph
