Preparation Material
Supporting materials sent ahead of a facilitation session can accelerate meaningful discussion.
In congruence with sending a meeting agenda, it is often recommended to provide participants with pre-readings and materials (i.e., research, reports, policy documents). These materials enable attendees to familiarize themselves with the key topics and accelerate meaningful discussion in the session. It is important to provide these materials a minimum of 3-5 days prior to the session to allow time for questions and reflection. The materials should also be provided in multiple formats (i.e., audio, video) and live captions for improved accessibility.
