The CRIS Connects series provides targeted, real-time help from guest experts. These drop-in sessions are designed for you to come and ask our guest experts anything on their topic of expertise. Join other UofT community members and learn together as you get your questions answered.

Join us for the next session of CRIS Connects: University of Toronto Research Account (UTRAC) with guest experts Safa Faidi, Research Systems Engagement Coordinator, and Peter Schwarz Lam, Manager, Projects and Process Optimization from the Division of the Vice-President, Research & Innovation (VPRI).

UTRAC is the first part of a multi-phase initiative named My Research Funds (MRF) that will modernize the University of Toronto’s research funding administration tools. As part of this launch, UTRAC will succeed the Funded Research Digest (FReD) and become the primary tool for users such as Researchers, Business Officers, and Academic Administrators, to access detailed information about funded research awards. 

Peter and Safa will be available to answer questions on:

  • How to access UTRAC in the My Research portal
  • Navigating UTRAC and taking full advantage of its new features
  • Where to go to find different research award information (UTRAC vs. MROL)
  • The next phases of the My Research Funds Initiative
