Session Description

In this session, from the Edwin S.H. Leong Centre for Healthy Children, participants will hear from families themselves about their experiences being included in research studies as co-designers.

OBJECTIVES:

• Understand the importance of including newcomer families in research, and the barriers and facilitators to inclusion.
• Develop strategies to better include newcomer families in research studies, including advisory board roles.
• Hear from families directly about their experiences.
