Join the September E-Learning event! This will be the first event of our new sub-theme on “Celebrating Community-Based Research Excellence”, where we highlight the winners and honourable mentions from the CBRCanada Awards for Excellence in Community-Campus Research Partnership and Emerging Community-Based Researcher.
For September, we are spotlighting the National Overdose Response Service (NORS), winners of the 2025 Community-Campus Partnership Award. Lisa Morris Miller and Monty Ghosh will present on their collaboration around NORS, a virtual supervised consumption service helping to ensure people do not use alone when they are using substances. Some key points they will discuss:
- An overview of the service and the various supports they provide.
- A discussion on the collaboration between community and academia and how that formed
- A review of the evidence gathered thus far around the service and outcomes seen with the program.
This is part of CBRCanada’s e-Learning series “Celebrating Community-Based Research Excellence”.
