Drawing Across the Disciplines: Graphic Facilitation Workshop – Mar. 1, 2024

Join us for the third workshop in the CRIS series Drawing Across the Disciplines.This session focuses on Graphic Facilitation. This 3-hour hands on workshop is a follow-on session from the January 18th panel discussion on Graphic Facilitation which is thetechnique ofdrawing images and words to capture complex ideas and concepts in a compellingly visual way. 

It will introduce participants to drawing and graphic facilitation methods. The first hour is dedicated to connective quick exercises through drawing, with an opportunity for quick reflections. The second and third hour of the workshop is dedicated to a longer process of exploring what drawing across the disciplines can do for specific projects that the participants bring in. They will be conducting accessible drawing activities and encouraged to mix disciplines and projects throughout. Participants will leave the workshop with a place to begin exploring how drawing and graphic exploration can support their academic research work. 

Please note that this is a limited enrollment workshop. Preference will be given to full-time faculty members and their research teams.Additionally, NO PRIOR experience or drawing skills are required to fully participate in this workshop.
