In Conversation With…Visiting Topics in EDI in Research &Innovation is a series of discussions with experts at University ofToronto on how to embed best practices and strategic EDI approaches within theresearch and innovation ecosystem. Each session will be hosted by Dr. NicoleKaniki, the inaugural Director of EDI in Research and Innovation, and shewill be joined by guests from across the tri-campus for these conversations.

Session 1 - Intro to EDIRI at U of T:In Conversation with... 
Dr. Nicole Kaniki will discuss the purpose and mandate of the office of EDI inResearch and Innovation, the services offered, and what the landscape of EDI inResearch and Innovation will look like at the University of Toronto overthe next year. She will explore the internal and external challenges andbarriers to EDI in research and innovation and talk about the approachesthe Office of Vice President Research and Innovation (OVPRI) will take toaddress the issues and support the work.  

Attendees are invited to join the conversation by sharing yourideas, candid questions, expertise, successes and strategies!
