The UTSC Office of the Vice Principal Research and Innovation invites you to an information session as we approach the 2022 NSERC Discovery Grant competition.
The Discovery Grants program supports ongoing programs of research with long-term goals rather than a single short-term project or collection of projects. These grants recognize the creativity and innovation that are at the heart of all research advances.
The session will be led by Jason Darby, Research Administration Officer in the OVPRI, and will feature guest speakers, Professor Adam Martin, Assistant Professor, Physical and Environmental Sciences, Professor Rutsuko Ito Associate Professor, Psychology and Professor Ina Anreiter, Assistant Professor, Biological Sciences as we present an overview of the Discovery Grant program, the application process and a panel discussion on strategies for success when preparing your Discovery Grant proposal.
