Strategies for Success with Sloan Fellowships and Other Early-Career Opportunities – Aug 12, 2021

The Sloan Research Fellowships are two-year fellowships recognizing outstanding early-career faculty who have the potential to revolutionize their fields of study.
Candidates must be tenure-track faculty who hold a PhD or equivalent degree in chemistry, computer science, Earth system science, economics, mathematics, neuroscience, physics, or a related field.
This 90-minute workshop hosted by the Division of the Vice-President Research and Innovation is designed to provide awareness and best practices for applying to this and other early-career award opportunities.
This session will feature four recent U of T winners of the Sloan Research Fellowships who will provide insights into self-advocating for competitive nominations and securing strong support letters that can enhance chances of success.
