Diversity, inclusion, respect, and civility are among our fundamental values at the University of Toronto. Considerations for how to optimize inclusion in your facilitated session is an important planning step.

Several tools have been created, that can help guide your planning and hosting of an inclusive event:

  • The Council of Ontario Universities has created a Toolkit for Accessible Event & Conference Planning. In this tool, you will find resources for planning and hosting an inclusive event.  
  • York University has created the Inclusion Lens Event Management Tool. This tool is divided into planning, advertising, implementing and evaluating components.
