Modes of Thinking
Consider how group interactions may affect your desired outcomes
Prior to beginning a facilitation, it is important to consider how the group will interact in relation to your desired outcomes. Is the purpose of the session to identify ideas from diverse disciplinary perspectives? Will these ideas be combined or grouped together? How can the ideas be integrated to form novel or big ideas that did not exist prior? The facilitator should consider the level of integrated thought required for the session.
