The program will help researchers explore their ideas in a new way to identify how to create more value and impact with their research through potential commercial or collaborative research opportunities. Seed Fund applicants will also benefit from this training by refining their ideas on how to create growth from the initial Seed funding. 
The application deadline for the Fall 2024 cohort will close on October 1, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. PDT. 

New Unconscious Bias Training Module: Inclusive Academic Cultures

Research Security Team Launch Services to Guide Research Funding Applicants

This year, the Government of Canada’s new research security requirements under the Policy on Sensitive Technology Research and Affiliations of Concern (STRAC) will impact researchers applying for federal research grants. U of T’s Research Security Team has recently launched a suite of services and resources to help them navigate these new procedures.

Reminder: Mandatory Requirement to use U of T’s Central Chemical Inventory System by March 1, 2025

This message is a follow up to the Research Alert sent on March 27, 2024 regarding the upcoming mandatory change to the University’s management of its chemical inventory. Please be reminded that all U of T researchers using hazardous chemicals must complete initial logging in the central chemical inventory system (HECHMET) by March 1, 2025.
